Kams made a track called Bassmunter - whacked the audio files that lied therein on the interweb and asked his friends from the Hippocamp and No-Future forums to remix him. Lots of people did.
They're all really good.
"Its a bit like being in a really big band without having to battle to stand at the front and get your part the loudest in the mix" said Kams. Although never having been in a proper band, he only assume this to be true.
"I feel I know each of the artists a little better and more personally - but the great thing about the internet is you don't actually need any social skills to interact with people anymore, I feel this Hippocamp release is a celebration of that"
Hats off to all contributors. Socks off to Decadnids @ Hermetech (link) for hosting the remix files and trousers off to Jon Fisher for Hippocamp.
